  Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

  Justin Miller

  Justin has developed a thorough knowledge of the Australian technology marketplace during the past 20 years. He has successfully founded and managed the aggressive and profitable growth of technology companies, including strategic acquisitions, capital raisings, multi-million dollar sales deals and significant staff growth.

  Justin was a Founder and Managing Director of Empired Limited which, under his direction, grew in to a multimillion dollar revenue business and was recognized as Western Australia's fastest growing private enterprise and more significantly, Australia's 10th fastest.

  Justin is a co-founder and Non-Executive Director of Watershed Corporate, a business that provides commercialization consultancy to start-ups and small to medium enterprises. He was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2003 and 2004, and was also a winner of the 2004 WA Business News 40 under 40 Award.

  Justin is also an elected member of the board of the Branch Executive of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). The AIIA is the peak body of the Australian Information & Communications Technology (AICT) industry.

  Chief Operating Officer

  Diana May

  Diana is a seasoned finance and operations professional with over 20 years international experience across a range of industry sectors including; technology, consulting, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, distribution and franchising.

  Diana has a successful history of managing businesses through periods of change covering rapid growth, IPOs, the integration of acquisitions and the divestment of asset portfolios.

  Prior to joining Sensear, Diana has held senior positions across a spectrum of large public companies, private ventures and family-owned businesses including Cable & Wireless, Rational Software, Baan and Leisure & Allied Industries.

  Diana is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

  Chief Scientist

  Sven Nordholm

  Sven has led the development of the Sensear technology. He is a Professor in Telecommunications at Curtin University and Research Director of the Signal Processing Laboratory at the Western Australian Telecommunications Research Institute (WATRI). Sven is recognized as one of the world's leading authorities in the field of microphone arrays and digital signal processing, since publishing his PhD thesis on Broadband Adaptive Beamforming with Applications in Acoustic Signal Processing.

  He has published more than 100 research papers, either written individually or with others, and is a registrant in six patents. Sven's work with industry includes consulting to Ericsson and teaching short courses to industry. He is also Research Executive for the Wireless Program of the Austra-lian Telecommunication CRC.

  Chief Marketing Officer

  David Cannington

  David has 25+ years experience in international marketing, advertising and business development.

  His earlier career was spent driving marketing strategies for Fortune 1000 companies such a Cadbury Schweppes in Australia and UB Foods in the UK. He then worked for McCann Erick-son in Sydney and San Francisco driving advertising strategy and execution for global brands such as Nestle and Del Monte.

  Since arriving in San Francisco 20 years ago, David founded two marketing consulting companies advising early stage technology companies on US market traction and was the founding CEO of ANZA Technology Network, a leading Asia Pac Technology Network.

  David combines classic marketing and advertising disciplines with strong entrepreneurial experience to drive the global marketing activities for Sensear. David graduated with a Bachelor of Business from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.

  Engineering Manager

  David Ward

  David is the Engineering Manager at Sensear, leading the Engineering and Production depart-ment and overseeing Product Development. He has 30 years of electronic development and project management experience in hardware and embedded software technologies both in Australia and the UK.

  More recently David has worked with technology companies assisting them in the transition from a prototype development phase through to efficient volume production.

  David holds an honors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Western Australia.

  Sales Director - Asia/Pacific

  Darren Deitz

  Darren has held senior positions in Sales Management and Business Development for Wesfarm-ers Industrial & Safety division and Jeminex Industrial Group and has over 15 years experience in the maintenance, repair, manufacturing and safety industries.

  Prior to joining Sensear, Darren was National Sales Manager for Australian Safety Specialists where he played a key role in expanding the business. He has extensive knowledge in the hearing protection marketplace, and experience of both distribution channels and end user markets within the resources, manufacturing, construction, utilities and government sectors.
