What is the difference between noise cancellation and noise suppression?
Noise cancellation looks for a frequency you do not want and adds a second sound specifically designed to cancel the first noise. Noise suppression allows all noise to be heard but at safe dB’s allowing the user to maintain awareness of their surroundings whilst still being able to hear clearly the information being relayed.
What is the NRR?
Hearing protection ratings are often referred to as Noise Reduction Ratings (NRR). Essentially, a Noise Reduction Rating is a guideline or standard that acts as an absolute reference concerning the amount of predicted hearing protection a certain piece of equipment will supply at any given time in an overly noisy work atmosphere. Most hearing devices are designed to decrease the amount of noise exposure with the intention of creating a safer working environment for employees.
Noise Reduction Ratings are measured in decibels (a unit of measurement used to classify how powerful or dense a certain sound is); for instance, a certain device may be screened to discern how great a potential it may hold for reducing decibels. This screening is often performed during experiments within scientific laboratories.

Do you offer replacement hygiene kits/ear seals/ear cushions?

How do I know when it’s time to replace my hygiene kits?
Hygiene kits should be replaced every 6 months if they are in use daily or if the ear cushion becomes hard, brittle, or shows signs of drying cracking, or notable wear. Worn hygiene kits may compromise the performance or NRR of the headset.
What is the warranty - and what does it cover?
We take extraordinary measures so your Sensear product will give you many years of dependable service. If it doesn't we will gladly repair or replace it, at our discretion, with one of equal or greater value under our 1-year guarantee.
