Sensear, a global leader in developing and manufacturing Smart Digital Headsets and Earplugs for high-noise communication, is excited to announce the appointment of Ajay Nair as General Manager of Sensear's Asian-Pacific and Middle Eastern regions. This announcement is the result of Sensear’s continued focus on global expansion and innovation. As GM, Nair will be responsible for business and sales operations in APAC and the Middle East, with a focus on delivering value to our manufacturing, customers, and strategic partners. Nair’s focus will be on expanding our regional partners, managing our manufacturing operations, and driving accelerated adoption of the patented SENS® Technology across Sensear’s broad range of market applications.
“I’m extremely excited about today’s announcement. I have known Amanda Miller for many years, and I’m thrilled to be working with her again. I believe Sensear has a unique product portfolio, and I am looking forward to working with our Board of Directors, employees, and clients to build upon the fantastic foundation that has already been established at Sensear,” says Nair.
Nair received his Biomedical Engineering degree from Arizona State University and his Master's in International Business from the Thunderbird Global School of Management. Nair started his career at Ethicon Inc. (Johnson and Johnson) as a New Product Development Engineer before moving to surgical sales. For the last 14 years, Nair has had global brand management and sales roles, with the last 11 years in commercial and regional leadership. Prior to joining Sensear, Nair was the President and CEO of Gamma Diagnostics Inc, a biotech start-up. Nair has worked with leading healthcare companies such as Medtronic, Eli Lilly, and Ossur to name a few, and brings a track record of successful growth, regional expansion, and building high-performance teams. Given his extensive experience in the Middle East and APAC and his engineering background, he’s well-positioned to build Sensear’s team in Australia while delivering value and a high commitment to customer service for our clients. He will be based at Sensear’s Australian headquarters in Perth, WA.
